Creating a Read-Only API Token in Fastly

You can add your Fastly CDN to Flumotion Smart Multi CDN in Read-Only mode and use it for monitoring and traffic steering (you won’t be able to modify its configuration). To create a Read-Only API token, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your Fastly account.
2. Navigate to Account settings by opening the user dropdown and selecting Account.
3. Select the API Tokens tab.
4. Click Create Token.
5. Fill out the new token form:

• Name – For example, flumotion-smart-multicdn-api-token.
• Type – Select Automation token.
• Scope
  • Check Global API access.
  • Check Read-only access.
• Access – Select All services.
• Expiration – Select Never expire.

6. Click Create Token.

Save the created token and provide it to the Flumotion Smart Multi CDN support team to add your Fastly CDN in Read-Only mode.
