Technical Support Internship – Streaming & Multimedia Platforms
Are you passionate about technology and looking to take your first steps in a professional environment?
At Flumotion, we are looking for a student eager to learn and discover how online video platforms, live streaming services, and multimedia solutions (OTT/OVP) operate in real-world environments.
You will join our Technical Support team, where you will learn alongside experienced professionals how live broadcasts, on-demand content, and technical issue resolution are managed across digital platforms.
You will work with proprietary products used in both live and on-demand environments, becoming part of a technical team with more than 20 years of experience in audiovisual technology.
Who is this opportunity for?
We are looking for students who can complete an internship through an agreement with their educational institution (University or Vocational Training program), particularly in fields related to:
Higher Vocational Training (Advanced Diploma):
✓ Network Systems Administration (ASIR)
✓ Multiplatform Application Development (DAM)
✓ Web Application Development (DAW)
✓ Telecommunications and Information Systems (STI)
University Degrees:
✓ Computer Engineering
✓ Telecommunications Engineering / Telematics Engineering
✓ Data Science and Engineering, or other related technology degrees
What will you learn during your internship?
Always with the support of our team, you will participate in:
Higher Vocational Training (Advanced Diploma):
✓ Technical support and issue analysis: you will learn how technical inquiries related to web platforms and applications are received, analyzed, and resolved.
✓ Video and streaming operations: you will gain insight into how live broadcasts, multimedia content management, and VOD platforms operate.
✓ Databases and technical analysis: you will learn how to query information using relational databases (SQL) to support troubleshooting and monitoring tasks.
✓ Diagnostic tools: you will use tools such as the browser developer console (Network, Console, etc.) to identify potential issues and better understand how web applications work.
What are we looking for in you?
✓ Ability to complete an internship through an agreement with your University or Vocational Training institution.
✓ Interest in technology, online video, and digital platforms.
✓ Basic knowledge of IT, networking, or web development.
✓ Eagerness to learn, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
✓ Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Nice to have
✓ Basic knowledge of SQL.
✓ Familiarity with web technologies and concepts (HTTP, APIs, JSON, etc.).
✓ Technical English reading skills for understanding documentation.
