Open video conference in streamingThe live streaming of the 2011 Open Video Conference wrapped up last night with the final keynote from Marvin Ammori of the New America Foundation Open Technology Initiative.

This year’s event was designed to be more hands-on than previous years, with fewer talks and panels. The main focus turned to results driven workshops and participation projects. Nonetheless this year still saw top speakers with 6 keynotes streamed live by Flumotion using the open formats WebM and Ogg with fallback to Flash.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Open Video Alliance for organizing such a great event, also the speakers, fellow supporters, and everyone who watched OVC11 live in WebM and Ogg.

We encourage you to continue to discussion with the #ovc11 hashtag and let us know what you thought of the live streams.

Until next year.
