# Updating & Deleting a CDN Account

### Updating a CDN Account

Once a CDN account has been added to **Flumotion Smart Multi CDN**, you can update the following information:

- **New credentials** – You can update your CDN account with new credentials. However, it is important that the new credentials belong to the **exact same** CDN account. If you wish to switch to a different CDN account, you must first delete the current account, including its associated CDN configuration, and then add the new account.
- **Commitment** – You can specify or update the traffic commitment associated with the CDN provider.

To update a CDN account:

1. Select the **CDN Providers** tab.
2. Navigate to the CDN account you would like to modify and click the **Options** button (three dots).
3. Select **Update** to update the credentials or **Update commitment** to modify the CDN commitment.

### Deleting a CDN Account

A CDN account can be removed from **Flumotion Smart Multi CDN** if it is no longer needed. Before removing a CDN account, you must first remove it from all services where it is currently being used.

To remove a CDN account:

1. Select the **CDN Providers** tab.
2. Navigate to the CDN account you would like to remove and click the **Options** button (three dots).
3. Select **Delete** to remove the CDN account.
