# Managing CDN Accounts

**Flumotion Smart Multi CDN** enables you to leverage multiple CDNs for your traffic to improve performance, availability, and cost efficiency. The platform supports all major CDN providers and most global CDNs:

- Akamai
- CloudFront
- Cloudflare
- Fastly
- Edgio
- GCore
- And more…

**Flumotion Smart Multi CDN** manages CDNs via their APIs. Therefore, in order to add a CDN to your Flumotion Smart Multi CDN account, you need to provide the API credentials for that CDN.

Once you have added a CDN provider to your account, the provider can be added to any of your services.

### Prerequisites

Before adding a CDN provider to your account, make sure you have the following:

- **Flumotion Smart Multi CDN Account** – You can sign up [here](https://manage.ioriver.io/register) for a free account.
- **CDN Account** – You will need at least one CDN account to use with your service.
