# Creating an API Token in Fastly

You can add your Fastly CDN account to **Flumotion Smart Multi CDN** and use it with your services. To add Fastly as one of your CDN providers, you need to create an API token in your Fastly account.

To create an API token:

1. Sign in to your [Fastly account](https://manage.fastly.com/).
2. Navigate to **Account settings** by opening the user dropdown and selecting **Account**.
3. Select the **API Tokens** tab.
4. Click **Create Token**.
5. Fill out the new token form:

- **Name** – For example, `flumotion-smart-multicdn-api-token`.**Type** – Select **Automation** token.**TLS management** – Check **Grant access to modify TLS configuration**.**Scope** – Check **Global API access**.**Access** – Select **All services**.**Expiration** – Select **Never expire**.

6. Click **Create Token**.
