# Creating a Read-Only API Token for Cloudflare

You can add your Cloudflare CDN in **Read-Only** mode to **Flumotion Smart Multi CDN** and use it for importing your configuration, monitoring, and traffic steering. To create a Read-Only API token, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your [Cloudflare account](https://dash.cloudflare.com/).
2. In the top-right corner, click the **Profile** icon.
3. From the dropdown menu, select **My Profile**.
4. In the left sidebar, select **API Tokens**.
5. Click the **Create Token** button.
6. Under **API Token Templates**, select the **Read all resources** template.
7. Fill out the **Create Token** form:

- Under **Account Resources**, select the appropriate account.
- Apply additional restrictions if necessary, such as **Zone Resources** and **TTL**.
- Click **Continue to summary** and review the new token's permissions.

8. Click **Create Token** to finalize.

Save the created token and provide it to the **Flumotion Smart Multi CDN support team** to add your Cloudflare CDN in **Read-Only** mode.
