Yes. The Flumotion platform gives you the possibility to broadcast in Windows Media, Flash, Mp3, Ogg-Vorbis, Ogg-Theora formats.

I don't know in which format I want to transmit, can you help me?
Yes. Fill in a form indicating the nature of your project and your objectives and we can send you an offer with our suggestions.

Can I encode in one format but download to the end-users in various formats?
Yes. Thanks to the "Flexible Format" service the stream can be sent in one format and then transcoded on the platform. This allows customers to offer multiple formats and multiple bitrates to the end-users.

Do I need additional streaming servers?
It depends on the solution you choose. If you choose Flumotion's streaming platform, you don't; it's a Content Delivery Network (CDN). You won't need to invest in servers or streaming licenses. But if you choose Flumotion's streaming server, then you will need to invest in hardware.

Can I know the statistics of my traffic
Yes. Within our services you will receive access to the customers Flumotion Reporting Management System where you can find all the information relative to your traffic and your audience.

Is there a limit to the encoding rate?
No. Our platform permits all the kbps that you want. However, the end-users may have a limited bandwidth, something to take into account at the moment of deciding the encoding rate.

Can the services be contracted for a single event?
Yes. Just ask us for an event quote with an estimate of the number of end-users or traffic estimated, using the online web tool if you wish.
