It’s that time of year again to gear up for one of the most talked about festivals in Barcelona, Sonar 2011. The excitement is building up here at Flumotion as we will be showcasing our 360 Online Video Platform and our brand new 360 Online Radio Platform
For those unfamiliar with Sonar, it’s a festival of advanced music and multimedia art which has taken place every year in Barcelona since 1994. Part of the festival features SonarPro, a meeting point for professionals in the music industry and technologies applied to audiovisual and new media art.
The main purpose of SonarPro is for accreditation holders to share ideas, raise the profile of their projects, present their products and make contact with professionals working in similar fields. It will include exhibition areas where the newest brands can reveal their products, demo areas which will host presentations of the best products on the market and tutorial demos which will teach people about production and Dj performance.
The festival takes place on June 16, 17 and 18 at CCCB (Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona) / MACBA (Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona). You’ll be able to find Flumotion in the Forum exhibition area, located right next to the main stage, throughout each day of the event.
