Probably not, it was aired July 1, 1941 on NBC, which at the time was known as WNBT-TV. This was not only the birth of an advertising platform that would go on to provide the world with some of the most successful adverts ever produced, but the beginning of a dominate mass medium that no other has ever came close, until now. In case you have not already heard, we launched ‘play cuatro’ on the 4th of November, celebrating the 4th birthday of the TV station ‘Cuatro’. The WebTV features an easy intuitive media centre like navigation that creates a unique online user experience.

The beta-testing started two weeks before the launch with the Cuatro community. It was evident that during this period we had created a scalable and flexible solution.  Cuatro communicated the start of its online video service through all company group channels such as CNN+ and El Pais. Nestlé Corporate WebTV wins award

Nestlé TV has been awarded the title as one of the best 20 websites in the history of the .es domain, celebrating its 20th birthday. We together with Telefónica and OgilvyOne developed Nestlé TV in order to create an enthusiastic user base around their video content. The WebTV offers range of domestic channels that touch on a number of issues such as baby and pet care, while relating them to Nestlé products.

The State Secretary of Telecommunications and Information Society presented the award which was based on accessibility, innovation, number of visits, creativity or contribution to the internet. This is a huge achievement considering Nestlé TV beat off competition from over 1.1 million registered .es websites. Continue Reading…
