With more than 10 years experience in new media technologies, Barcelona born Telecommunications Engineer Xavier Laballós joined Flumotion in 2007 as Pre-sales Manager and was promoted to Product Director in 2008. Having worked for 5 years as Operations Manager at Lavinia TC (Audiovisual Services Company) Xavier has acquired a profound understanding of the Catalan and Spanish broadcasting landscape.
From this perspective his role as Product Director includes the definition of new features and services, ensuring the optimal alignment of all Flumotion services with the needs of broadcasters. While working with clients Xavier quickly develops an in-depth understanding of their future needs and translates them into features for new product releases. His strong vision and ability to lead product management has attributed to the company being awarded ‘Best Streaming Innovation’ by industry leading Streaming Media Magazine.
